I'm getting so tired of these morons! They're pests who don't give-up & have the IQ of a styrofoam cup! LOL, I think I just made a funny!
I'd like to share with you what I've learned about these pests. They're not texting to get you to be a 'Mystery Shopper', they're texting you because they're harvesting phone numbers! They text you to see if they've found an active number. When you text them back with the word "STOP" they've got you. They now know your number's active as you obviously received & read their text or you wouldn't be texting them back! They're banking on the fact most people are not interested in being a 'Mystery Shopper' & will NOT want to be contacted again so they follow their instructions & text back with the word "STOP" thinking that will end the matter. It will, but only for as long as it takes them to sell the lists!
I've noticed one thing which is very odd & which I haven't seen before, the number is not always active. I tried to call the number back to see who would answer & it was a man with a very thick Indian accent & who I could not understand 1/2 to 3/4 of what he said although he seemed quite friendly. About a week later I received a call from the same number with only a one number difference, the last number was a 1, not a 0. On dialing this number back it just rang & rang. I called the first number again and oddly enough got a recording saying the number was inactive or disconnected. About a week after this I received a call from the 6631 number & got the disconnected recording & when I called the 6630 number back it was disconnected as well. Has anyone else had this experience with on again, off again phone numbers? Just be cautious with this one as something seems fishy about it! Wait a minute did I just suggest people be cautious around scammers? I must be losing my mind!

When will somebody DO SOMETHING about the DO NOT CALL LIST!?
