A man with a thick Indian accent called and was extremely rude to my disabled mother. I had her ask his name and where he was calling from. He said his name was "Charlie Brown" and he was calling about our computer. At that point I took the phone. He continued to tell me he was calling about a virus that infected our Windows software and he instructed me to turn the computer on... that's when I told him I don't trust that call and I would be reporting him.
called 6:11 PM est Aug 1. Had my last name. Heavy Indian/Pakistani accent.
"Mr. Johnson?"
(reply: IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!!)
"We are support Center" calling about your windows based computer."
(reply: I HAVE NO COMPUTER!!!)
"SO, you saying you have NO COMPUTER? (tone of "Are you kidding me? This is hysterical"")
(reply: I HAVE NO COMPUTER!!! )
