They just tried to pull a PayPal scam on me as well for $3500. I am turning this over to the authorities. Horrible people trying to get free money. Do not respond to this number.
Same here. They use the "Text Me" app to get a free phone # to text from. "Isabelle" said she would have loved to call me, but due to the "nature of her work" that would be impossible. I replied that the nature of her work must leave her fingers free, but has her mouth hole filled 24/7.
Received the text at 2AM Sunday morning. Posted a high $ item this morning, and within ten minutes received the first of eight different (so far) Text Me scam texts. No reason to go to the authorities - they won't do anything - Too much work to find the true owner of the number, plus they only get involved once you actually lose the $.
