Got automated call. Last time an Indian called and said that I need to get to my computer because there was a 90% chance it had a virus. Told him I don't care . I want a new computer anyway.
Some one called from this number, and on my caller ID it said PFIZER. They said that something was wrong with my computer. This is the first time from this telephone number, I have run my scans, but something keeps on popping up that my certificate has run out, and my computer is located in California. SCAM?
Had a call from "John" said he was from Microsoft. Caller Id came up PFIZER. They have called from this number many times. Said something was wrong with my computer. I am in Georgia. My scans said nothing was wrong.
Got a call from this number saying they were the IRS and have a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud along with a number to call. I'm sure if I gave them my debit and credit card numbers all would be forgiven. Even I am not that stupid.
973-206-4254 I lifted the receiver but said nothing. Caller ID showed Pfizer, but the robo-caller stated it was Microsoft calling about my computer and there was a severe problem emanating from it, and I was being transferred to a "tech." John thanked me for "calling" Microsoft then I spoke-I did not call Microsoft. He went on about the problems with my computer and I told him he was totally wrong, He insisted that they were receiving information that could affect my computer and cause it damage. When I asked how could it cause damage he said because of the report they were getting, I told him he is a scammer and a liar because I have no computer. He promptly hung up. But, he will no doubt call back next week. We seem to have these conversations at least once or twice each week.
