As posted on numerous numbers associated with this one, this phone number along with 26 other ones belong to customers of Level 3 Communications and their annoyance call line is 877-371-8776
PLEASE CALL these people to complain!!! The person I spoke with is Kimberly and the only thing she can do is email request your number to her customers to have them remove it. She will not divulge the names of her customers without court order!!! All the 20+ numbers are all stemming from 2 of their customers she said. I honestly do not think these calls will stop without a class action lawsuit!!!
This number calls and caller i.d. Shows phone number and name as power company. That's it, not the name of my company and they have yet to leave a message. They call 2 to 3 times a day, crazy
This is an energy broker (who won't identify themselves) who is trying to get you to switch over from PSEG or JCPL. I, too, receive 5 or more calls per day from this number, and I, too, am on the Do Not Call Registry. Sometimes they call me about my "current bill with PSEG". Sometimes they call me about my "current bill with JCPL. That should tell you something.
When you try to talk to a rep to get your number removed, they will ask for your account number.
NEVER GIVE ANY ACCOUNT NUMBER OR EVEN YOUR NAME TO ANYONE COLD CALLING YOU. ANY LEGITIMATE COMPANY THAT YOU ALREADY DO BUSINESS WITH ALREADY HAS YOUR NAME AND ACCOUNT NUMBERS, AND WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO PROVIDE THESE THINGS. IF SOMEONE ASKS YOU FOR THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE, IT IS A SCAM.
Furthermore, whoever these people are, they at times try to misrepresent themselves as PSEG or JCPL to gain your trust (they are NOT PSEG or JCPL; again, they refuse to identify who they are).
This is a shady scam. As of last week (week ending August 18, 2012), they were robo dialing people using 973-1XX-XXXX and 732-1XX-XXXX phone numbers. Phone numbers where the prefix starts with a 1 (example 973-158-9945) are not legitimate phone numbers). After I posted this complaint on all of the prefix-1 phone numbers listed below, they started robo dialing people using other phone numbers such as this 973-241-4395 phone number. When you try to call this number yourself, all you get is a busy signal.
Obviously, this is not a legitimate company if they are using deceitful practices to get around the Do Not Call Registry, misrepresenting themselves as PSEG or JCPL, and don't even have legitimate phone numbers.

Just Q stated, numerous telephone numbers (inc. 973-203-5588; 973-085-1515). Oftentimes, no message is left; if so, it is automation. Caller ID: New Jersey; Power Bill. Also, received from a 206 area code. Caller ID: Free Offer (496-0464) & Utility Supply (397-1131).
FYI. I used to be on the 'Do Not Call' list, which I determined is ineffective. They too, are probably selling our telephone numbers.
