I just got a phone call from "google" saying the same thing. Only this was an India speaking man. He also said that I had been sending out threatening emails to people. I thought it was strange that I did not get an email from someone telling me this. He was going to have a "technician" help me through fixing the problem. Told him I was at work and could not do anything now. I also asked him "How do I really know you are from Google." He said that he would give me his credentials. Yeah Right!
SCAM ALERT. Female caller with heavy heavy eastern india accent claiming to be with google. Said my email address was being used overseas and they had complaints about it. Email address was my work email and they called me on my personal phone. I do not use work email anywhere but at work. Seems real dissapointed when I told her it was a work email and I would have the office take care of it.

My husband received a call, claiming that they were from our internet carrier and our computer was hacked our contacts list., our fire wall was shut down and that anyone can hack out computer. . Transferred to "apple" Where the guy tried to pressure my husband to pay money or else we are completely explosed.
Received call and was told my internet service account hacked. A microsoft tech named ronny would clean out system of viruses and had a 6 month support package that would cost me 299.99 plus tax. A 2 year package would cost 499.99. A lifetime package 1999.99. Ended up giving his partners my checking account info for purchase of 6 month support package. I went to my bank and initiated a stop payment next morning. Considered calling FBI and Homeland Security. I called him up and told him to cancel agreement or would call FBI.. He apparently did. I had to close that checking account.
