Same experience as above messages. Persistant man with accent trying to tell me my computer was hacked. He claimed he was with Windows Best Help, but I couldn't google it because it was a trade name. He also tried to reassure me that his company was accredited by mulitple organizations.
Some guy with an Indian accent called on my home phone. He used my first name. His phone was very scratchy sounding so I was unable to really understand what he wanted at first. He told me someone was hacking into my computer and that he was from Windows and I should go to my computer immediately so I could help him catch the computer hacker. His phone kept cutting out, and cut off completely. I figured this sounded fishy so when he called back three times in a row, I let the call go to my answer machine, but he left no message. Really weird.
The moron must've called you from a cheap VOIP line. These crooks are good at using cheap lines and change them constantly due to the fear of getting caught. I want to know how their computer connects to the internet. There must be some ISP in India/Pakistan that's providing them internet access.
