Just got one of these calls, and, like others have reported, the guy had a heavy accent, though he claimed to be calling from Washington D.C. I actually listened to the guy for a while just to see what he would ask for. Once he mentioned that he would need my bank account or credit card info, I told him it wasn't happening and that we were done, then I hung up.
Poor English speaking person trying to give me a $9000 grant from something called Garmen Bank.
Get real.
When I asked what state he was calling from, he would or could not answer.
When I asked who his Garmen bank was, he would or could not answer.
This person was programmed like a robot to tell me about this $9000 grant, and wanted me to say OK.
I did not fall for it.
He hung up on me then.
This person needs the Lord, as they do have a problem with uprightness.
Peace,
Got a call from this number. When I answered, a woman started telling me I was selected to receive a $9000 grant and went into a sales pitch. I stopped her and asked her who she was calling to talk to, because she never said my name when she was saying I was selected, only said "you are selected". When I asked who she is trying to contact, she said "you" and then hung up on me.
