Received two messages from the numbers 202-239-1251 & 206-74-9147 stating that I was being sued by the IRS. I tried to call them back and when I contacted them they spoke in Indian, not American Indian, an I couldn't understand them. When I told them that I could not understand them, they hung up on me. These guys are scammers. I could hear a bunch of them in the background making phone calls.
I received a message on my answering machine stating this was IRS and this was my final notice and they were suing. Before I tried returning the call, I looked up this number on Google and this site came up and I saw that others had experienced the same thing.
received a call from this number. I wasn't to concerned because I know I have no issues with the IRS. I have no intention of calling this number back. I just want to put a stop to scams!
Same story for me. Received a call from 206-239-1251 telling me the same [***] and bull story about being sued by the IRS if I did not immediately call 202-239-1251. Tried calling back to the 206 number, it was busy. Tried the 202 number and it seems it has been disconnected.
