I received a call from this number saying that there is a fraud suit against me. They were calling me on behalf of a cash advance that I applied for in the past. They said that I owe a balance of $398.00. My question to this person was how come this is the first time hearing about this. Since the company has my address, why didn't the contact me by mail and I would have resolved it at that time. I am not handing over any money until I can verify the information. This is not the first time that I have received calls about this. I check my bank statements frequently and the cash advances that I applied for have been deducted from my account. I would appreciate an investigation into this matter.

I did receive other calls today from this imaginary lawfirm. I returned one call with a desperate message for Jeff Foster:
Jeff, I have NOT been arrested by the sheriff yet! What happened if something happened to him on the way to my house? The roads out here can be quite dangerous! OMG it would be terrible if something happened to them which is why they couldn't arrest me today. Jeff, you have GOT to call and find out why they didn't come!!!

They wouldn't tell me who the lender was. All they said was that it was through a website that finds cash advances for you. They said that I owe a balance of $300.00. But with all of the police filing fees, and court document fees, I owed $489.54. They threatened to call my employer and to put this on my credit history. They said I would never be able to buy a car or house or anything of value with a fraud charge on my account. They threatened me with 6 months in jail if it goes to court. They want me to go to K Mart and purchase a green dot prepaid credit card to pay them through to keep it out of the courts. This is an untraceable way of payment. .My question to this person was how come this is the first time hearing about this. calling you from the Law firm of others and Associates. Now the only reason

call me back on ... so-if-over(?) this [...] document to you."Thankfully, I thought to look them up. When I asked, MICHAEL DAVIS, who had an indian accent for my attorney general's name as well as the Sheriff that I needed to speak with, he hung up on me. Whew! They, initially, had me in tears.
They called me today and said I owe all this money and they will have me arrested I said I have my bank statements and there's nothing he said I have the choice to pay out of court hes calling back in a hour and constantly.the caller ID says Washington DC the number is 202 2392148
Received this call and after being transfered 3 times to a rep that could speak english ( didnt help I barely understood this person) they informed me that I was being sued for a payday loan by American Cash Advance. I asked for a number to contact the company to confirm the lawsuit and was told that I all communication was to stop per the lawsuit. Why am I unable to contact the company when this was the first I was hearing of the lawsuit, the gentlemen then yelled at me and simply said BECAUSE YOU CAN'T!!!!!! I then told him if I'm unable to contact the company then they didn't need to contact me anymore until I could speak with them.
These people are a joke and need to be stopped!!!!!!!!!
