I received a call from 202-239-2883 stating that there was a lawsuit filed against me. I have received several calls from this same number. Total scam I am sure; however, I do not want to be bothered again from this number.
Received a call supposedly from the IRS threatening me with a lawsuit And I was supposed to return their call I know it's a total scam and we have been warned By our local police that the IRS does not make phone calls.Please don't be suckered in by this callSounds like it emanated from India
Just got this call. First I will block the number. This guy "Jack" officer Jack said I had not filed taxes in 5 years ....hahaha. when I said what are you talking about...he asked you filed and I said yes! He said you have underpaid...hahaha. listen this guy first got me off guard, I did not give him personal information but he ha my phone number my address. He asked me to spell my last name...he called me he should know. I asked what he wanted ...he kept rambling ( some guy from India) I had a hard time understanding. He called my land-line si while he was reading his script I came to this site...and low and behold a SCAM. I told him I have a lawyer I will have him call you. He was never clear what he wanted..probably my ss# and other personal info. He left a message on my answering machine and not clear I called him back. DO NOT CALL..BLOCK THE NUMBER...NEVER GIVE ANY INFO THIS IS A SCAM. I hung up. The first guy on my message Jack when I called back same voice name is KALE PETERSEN...heavy Hindu accented. He also said to call him at his number 202-239-2883 The IRS has business with you they will send it to you by mail or in person.SCAM SCAM SCAM!
