I have been receiving calls this morning on my cell phone with the caller id stating it was my work calling me. They said they were at my place of employment to arrest me for a federal warrent. However, they stated they were from Illinois State Police (and I work in MO). Obviously, they are not at my place of employment, and I called the local police and they pretty much said there isn't much they can do. The man calling had a very foreign accent stated his name was Detective John Morrison, then John Williams and the arresting officer was going to be Mark Williams. When I called back, Mark Williams was an attorney.
A message was left on my business number by a Deputy Greg Rogers saying that I should call Officer Michael Black at this (202) 239-5284 number. The caller ID listed a local sheriff's station. Said that they were going to file a warrant out for the person who used to have this number and to please call back. So I called the number just to say that that individual doesn't have this number any more. Both the "cop" and the "IRS" guy had the same thick Indian accent. It may have even been the same guy. SO annoying. Lame.
