Well we do. You fell for it the first time, now they know they can scare you into paying them. This is one of the most highly publicized scams in America.
IRS Scam:
The IRS does not need to sue anyone. They also do not bother arresting people for a few thousand dollars. They don’t send the local police or Sheriff to arrest you. Everything they do is done either administratively or using Federal Agents. They don’t call you up and demand immediate payment. If you are going to be arrested, they don’t call you up to warn you. They only issue arrest warrants for people who are really bad actors and have tried to stick them for very large amounts of money, not a few hundred or thousand. Administratively, they send you first class letters delivered by the Post Office. Several of them. Ignore those, and they then send certified letters that you need to sign for. Again delivered by the Post Office. Ignore those and they simply freeze your bank accounts and anything else you own. If they can do that, then why would they bother with a court case that might take them years before they get in front of a judge? The IRS does not accept payment in Itunes Cards, Amazon gift cards, or any other type of payment other than cash, check, credit or debit card (from normal everyday citizens).

Received a call from this number with the caller id name Jijagi Kalpesh. I have previously gotten calls indicating they were from the IRS and the caller hung up after I attempted to gather additional information about the purpose of the call because I know the IRS does not contact you via the phone.
I have received 2 calls today from this no and also yesterday. A man claims he is from the (IRS) and says they have 4 allegations against me and if I do not call them back some one is coming to arrest me wiithin 24 hours. The upsets me and even scares me. IWant These Calls to Stop.
Don't know how to do that? It's really pretty easy. You probably know that you don't have to hear from anyone you don't care to if your number never has any kind of answer. So, if these IRS impostors have no way to threaten you, there's no possible way to cheat you out of money. Don't return the calls, either. There's nothing to worry about, it's a load of manure, and don't be conned into thinking there's a problem. You can annoy them back by letting your phone ring when they call. If you can do that, these crooks will begin to see your number as a waste of time messing with and leave you alone. Stay ahead of these crooks by remembering the IRS does business through the mail, not random phone calls. Unless YOU perhaps initiated contact, you're not going to be hearing from them any other way.
