That's a new twist. Have you buy a bond and physically turn it over to someone. How can the Indian scammers actually do that? The Indian scammers have really amped it up on this one.
I just got a mesage from this number saying we had we cp11 lein against us. When I called the number, a machine said it was "irs advocacy group". I hung up. With in 5 minutes, a man with a with an indian accent called back and just said he was returning a call for this number. I called our accountant and he has had another client reieve this call.
I have Comcast which records my calls when I am away. Here is a call received today 6/25/2014. I saved the recording.

"Hey this is Crystal form Internal Revenue Service. The very second you receive this message call on hotline number 2022410779. there's(?) a CP at eleven in notice filed against your name so before we impose a federal tax lean call back immediately. Thanks."
I also received a call this morning with the number 12022396791 that he was calling from IRS that we should discuss if I don't want my file send to the local police....I got to know with that the IRS will never address unprofessional like that....the spoke with Hindi, pakistani or Arab accent....
