This guy also called my house. he says he was gonna aresst my dad. But he was at work and then the guy said to make my dad come home. when i said ill call the police he hanged up
I received a call today (07/07/2014) from 202-241-0779 which provided an automated message explaining that (apparently) it was the Internal Revenue Service calling and that there was a tax lein against me. I guess they are trying out automated systems now.
I got a robo call as well today. I called back and spoke to a guy with an accent although he did not sound Indian to me, sounded like he had an African accent. Nonetheless a foreigner. I asked him a few questions and he said he needed to speak with my husband. Asked him to verify he had the right person, he could not. Then I asked if it was the IRS as the Internal Revenue Service and he said yes. I hung up. Seemed very fishy to me. We have no written documentation from the IRS about any issues, which is SOP. I am reporting them.
