Had a message on my machine when I got home from work today. Say the IRS has been trying to contact me and are filing a law suit--automated message. I do nothing wrong with my taxes--no reason for the IRS to come after me. Had other calls like this from other numbers=---started blocking them---guess another number to block. I am sure getting tired of this and wish someone could stop these idiots!
Received an automated call this morning (01-30-2015) from 202-241-1551 stating they were the IRS. My caller id displayed "Washington DC". They said they were filing a lawsuit and I should call them back. They also said this was my last notification (actually it was my first)
The IRS does NOT initiate contact by telephone. This is a scam! Not calling them back or giving any personal info!!!!!
