This num call me told i goin jail. For law siute

This alleged irs officer daniel weisman who i could barely understand was accusing me of owing $3000 in back taxes which i know is a lie because i never got a letter & the irs has been giving me refunds that they owed me.  This company should go out of business, they are a major scam! >:-l do not fall for it!!!!!!!

Received call from this number 202-545-6321.  I called the number back and a woman with thick Indian accent told me that I owed $3,000 from my 2014 tax return.  I told her I knew nothing about this and to send me something in writing because I couldn't understand her.  She said they had already sent 2 certified letters (BS!!!), and that if didn't take care of the payment today, that I was going to jail.  I figured this was bogus and hung up.

I just got call from this number 202-545-6321. I called the number back and they said I owed taxes 3000 from 2009 to 2013 I now for dam sure I don't owed no one taxes so new this was a scam. This is a scam and these people need to be shut down.

There are numerous telephone and email scams in which individuals claim to be employees of the Treasury Department. These scammers often state that they are from the “Department of Legal Affairs,” offer grant money in exchange for you wiring a small payment, or threaten to arrest you within a short period of time unless payment is made. Do not provide personal information or payment to these individuals.  Their actions are crimes under Titles 18 and 31 of the United States Code, and the Treasury Office of Inspector General is working to stop them.

If they claim to be from Treasury, report  it to [email protected] with a description.  If it was a phone contact, include:
the exact date and time that you received the call(s)
the phone number of the caller
the geographic location and time zone where you received the call
a description of the communication.

If they claim to be from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or it is about taxes, report it to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at:
