Called and says my cell number has been selected for a federal grant of $9,200 that doesn't ever have to be paid back. I told the caller I didn't want s grant and to stop calling me. The foreign speaking jerk said he would call me 6 times a day until I accepted the grant and hung up on me! Furious and sick of this call to my cell phone numerous times a day!!!
I also got this phone call from this exact number! Telling me the exact same story - that the government "randomly chose" me to receive a grant of over $9,000. I just hung up in the middle of his sentence lmao
I have been blocking numbers from DC over a week. First it was the IRS. That one ended with the lady swearing at me when I told here the IRS only communicates via registered mail. Yesterday it was the Grant thing but the guy hung up before I had a chance to run him through the ringer. I had the time and was going to string him along for the 10 minutes I had to spare. Three calls today from this number. My block list is getting long.
