I got the same call to day giving me a control number, then made mento call them back at 2026008694 stating is health and human services dept dealing with bank reserve to get my 9000, and are asking for $225 to be sent to them by western union and I can receive all my money back of 9000 sent by western union- yet things doesn't add up, not only the accent is heavy, sounded too far away ( outside the usa), operating some call center oversease! And I have mention to them that they can deduct such fee directly but the guy said that it can't be processed till I pay such fee of 225 which will be refunded!
I didn't know who to contact to verify them but I'm sure either fbi or federal reserve can be able to go to the bottom of it but it could be just waist of time! Just the sound of that call center sounds quite suspicious ! I hope to get know the truth behind it!
I receive a call from this number telling me I won 7,000. At first I thought it was legit, and God was answering my prayer for me to have the funding to pay for my son's highschool education. They told me I had several options on how to receive the money. 1) Western Union 2) through a deposit to my bank and 3) Added to a credit card. I said credit card, and the got excited and said, do you have your credit card with you. I said never mind, lets do Western Union, I am not comfortable giving my credit card information. After that, they told me to go to the nearest Walmart and purchase a green money bank voucher scratchable card, what ever that is? and put $300.00 on it, to pay the Federal Reserve Bank for processing the $7,000.00 Grant and they would be on the phone with me the whole time till I received my money in cash. They explained I would never have to pay this money back because it was a once in a lifetime grant. I told them okay and asked if I could go to Kmart instead. She said sure and ask how long it would be till I could get there. I said an hour. Then I looked up winning government grant of $7000.00 and saw that other like me fell for this and gave money and never received the grant money. THIS IS A SCAM!! The foreign person I talked to was Margret Hamelton. I am not going to be calling her back. If it was the real deal, I am sure there would be a different process. Save your money, don't believe this.
I had received this too and like at first the guy was cool like I was even calling him sir out of respect but then I had called this number and this girl was a straight botch like I wouldn't be able to hear her and then she goes off yelling what she said and I was like dam why you hollering but then I said that I wanted my money on a money gram but the scary part was they had all my information to a T like my name number and address.
