I received call today from that was supposed to be from the Dept. of the Treasury stating I'm to receive 7000 dollars in grant monies. They pass themselves off as a government agency then she asked for my personal information. She said she worked in the electronic division and they could only deposit the money into your bank account or on your credit card Then they give you a number to call, 202-621-0848 to speak to Mr. John Romaro and give him a conformation number the woman gave me. Mr. Romaro told me I had to pay $250.00 for the transfer fees that was not free. He then said I must go to the Western Union and send the 250.00 cash and this money would go to charity. Sounds pretty shady to me.
