I got a call aswell, first it was a lady who dont speak english well, said that the united state government have sellected me a grant over 7000 dollers cuz i have pay all my bill in time and thats how they sellected me!!.. i was like wtf is this, i knew in my mine this totley a scam. The lady give me this number 202-657-552 to call and to collect my money and ask if i wont my money by my bank account transfer or recieve money by western union store. I lied to her i dont have a bank account, and said why dont you just Sent me a legit check!.. then the lady said we dont do that no more cuz we had some proplem before!!. Then later i call the number she gave me and lady who answer the phone sound just like the Same lady, just little more stupid. The lady look up my info and said things i didnt understand much, then the last part was clear, she said if Im wont the money i have to pay a 300 dallor fee to get the grant money witch i never apply for. I ask why dont you just take the fee off my grant and Sent the rest!.. then she mumble somethig i cant never explane then hung up. Lol what wrong with america peaple we need to STOP these nasty @$$ peaple who scaming the united state citizin.....

I received a call earlier today from 970-002 asking for me by my name saying that I had won a 7k doaller grant for not filling bankrupt then they told me to call 202-657-5552 and give them a conformation call then to go to a western union and fill out some paper work to pay 265 doallers for the wireing fee that would eventually be bovine to charity then they would send me the money HER NAME WAS Margert Smith but she sounded ASIAN
I'd been getting these strange calls lately with a fake number. I finally got someone on the other end when I answered it. Turned out be some guy who could barely speak english, and I could barely understand him. He told me that I had been chosen to recieve $7,000 in grant money because I hadn't had a bankruptcy and my credit was good (b***sh**, I have unpaid student loans), and he asked me flat out if I would use this money for drugs or alcohol. I said no, and then asked him if there was a web-site or phone number that I could use to verify his offer. He skirted around the web-site question and told me he would give me a confirmation number and a phone number to call. Made absolutely no sense, but I said ok. I called the number up and another broken-english woman answered. She mangled my name, confirmed the town and state I was living in, and then asked if I knew why I was recieving this money. I said "No, and that's really interesting, isn't it?" She said "Oh, well, someone will call you," and then hung up. I decided then to look up the number online. They are in Washington, D.C., yes, but the number is nowhere near a federal building, and it's a cell phone number, which, I have a feeling, if the U.S. government was going to be calling me, they wouldn't do it from a cell-phone.
Got a call today from phonw # 646-970-002 saying we had been given $7000. from a lady that sounded like a indian woman. Gave us a confirmation nuber and said to call this # 202-627-5552. That it was from the Federal Reserve Bank and we had been chosen to help pay bills and fix our home up. If we gave them our debit card number they would send it to us.I'm telling ya I think their looking up random phone numbers on the internet and calling them. I wish the Federal Reserve or FBI or someone would find out who is doing thos and stop them.
