Yes, it is a scam. They are posting the old car wrap scam in craigslist:

this is to increase the publicity of the product ..you would be paid
weekly.. any interested candidate contact us with text Only 2026976561"
Their use of the term "advert" proves they are foreign. The "500" will be in the form of a fake check, which they will want you to cash and wire a portion to the fictitious "wrapper."
