It is a scam where they get into your computer under the premises of being from the Windows IT department regarding viruses attacking many computers. Once they get in to your computer, they tell you they can remove the viruses for a fee. When you say no and hang up, you can't get back into your computer because they blocked it with their own password. It cost me $150 to get my computer back and working again. The calls seem to come from India. I called back the 203 number and a recording came on that there was no such number. They hang up as soon as you give them a clue that you know what's going on.

voice was of a south asian indian male saying he's from the windows it department about my computer. had him wait while i said off to the side that these were the criminals and did they have the trace, yes, good, send the fbi. then I told him that the fbi is coming to him now as well as his government. he said that yes he's waiting for them... I hung up.
This number called for first time today around 5:30 p.m.. Answered phone, and someone replied, "Hello, hello?" I hung up. After reading all the comments on this site, we will not answer the phone when this # comes up on caller ID. Sounded like an older man with an accent. I have a relative in the 203 area code and that was the only reason I answered the phone.
Will report to the Attorney General's office if it continues. We did this with a persistent caller a couple of months ago and the calls stopped. Someone from the AG office actually called us a few weeks later to be certain the calls stop. Public outcry needed to stop these morons.
Keep receiving calls from these people telling me to turn on my computer. They are getting error messages from my computer. I set the phone down and let them ramble until they hang up, or tell them I am calling the FBI, or ask them so many questions they hang up. The bad thing is, there are probably some people

7/3/14, rec'd a call from 203-026-4051 @ 10:00 PM, I did not answer it because I know no one in that area code, I looked it up on the internet and found out it is a scam.
