I got my ninth call from 203-201-5681 at 4:45 pm on April 11, 2017. Since I have never answered the phone I'm guessing these people are completely clueless. I don't answer because I don't want to do business with them, just like everyone else on this website. I don't buy anything from telemarketers and have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years. But this means nothing to these people. What I can't understand is why they waste their time calling someone who clearly doesn't want anything to do with them. Maybe they are just really stupid. I bet they'll call again in a few days.
I got a call from 203-201-5681 on January 6, 2017 at 5:31 pm. The caller did not leave message even though my answering machine was on. My caller ID said, "Out of area," which is usually a sure sign of a telemarketer. I have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years. Since I don't buy anything from telemarketers I don't understand why they keep calling me.
Called my phone. Answer machine picked up and they just press buttons on the phone handset over and over again until you hang up or the answer machine ran out.
I got my second call at 8:01 pm on January 12, 2107. Same drill as before. Why do they waste their time calling someone who is on the Do Not Call list? It's beyond me. I don't buy anything from telemarketers, yet they keep calling. Don't they know people have caller ID? Maybe not. Or maybe they're unbelievably stupid. Or they can't get a hint.
I got my third call this morning at 11:22 on January 18, 2017. Same as before - the caller did not leave a message. My caller ID said, "Out of area," like that is going to fool somebody into answering their phone. Why they keep calling if I refuse to answer my phone is beyond me. Can't they figure out that I don't answer telemarketing calls?
Got a call from this number from someone with a heavy accent and could hardly speak English. He was going to reduce my taxes if I was on a fixed income. Since I am on the do not call list, I blew my referee's whistle. A check of the number he was using (call back) showed it was not in service, Obviously a scam to get information.
