I got my ninth call from 203-201-5681 at 4:45 pm on April 11, 2017. Since I have never answered the phone I'm guessing these people are completely clueless. I don't answer because I don't want to do business with them, just like everyone else on this website. I don't buy anything from telemarketers and have been on the federal Do Not Call list for over ten years. But this means nothing to these people. What I can't understand is why they waste their time calling someone who clearly doesn't want anything to do with them. Maybe they are just really stupid. I bet they'll call again in a few days.
Got a call from 203-201-5681 at 12:03 local time (central time) 2/25/2017 When I answered there was silence and then I heard a voice "as if" it were talking to someone else at their end of the line , then they hung up without saying a word in reply to my "Hello".
I dialed this number back using *67 to hide my caller ID. A recording said "this number is not in service".... which means that they "spoofed" the number.
When you answer the phone but they don't speak or they hang up.... they are looking for "hot numbers".... numbers where a live person actually answers. Then they pass on your number to the sales team that make the live calls. The more you answer, the more they will call.
They will NEVER put your number on a DNC list. They could care less. The gov't can't catch them because they are using spoofed numbers which can't be traced ...... or ..... they are calling from India or other countries that don't respect our laws. The best thing to do is to not answer numbers that you don't recognize. Call them back using *67 before the number to see if it's a legal number ..... or ..... come here to see if the number is already listed here as unsafe.
There are a number of inexpensive blocking devices on the market. Check with Amazon, Google or other retailer. The worst thing you can do is ANSWER.
203-201-5681 called on Mar 14, 2017 at 4:23 pm. No message. Caller ID = "Out of area," which when coupled with NO MESSAGE is usually a sure sign of a telemarketer (who doesn't want to be identified). Thanks 800notes, this is a confirmed SPAM. BLOCKED.

Got a call from this number today. It was a call center. I could hear other people talking and phones ringing in the background. I said can I help you? It said can you help me twice and hung up. It was on my elderly mother's phone. She doesn't need these type calls. Wish there was a way to block them. She won't give up her phone due to her friends. I don't want to be her receptionist.
