I've received a variation of this number several times. The number comes up, but no name, so I do not pick up, and they did not let a message. Car warranty sounds right. I keep getting mail from what looks like a legitimate business telling me my car warranty is up and I should call to renew extended coverage. My dealer told me not to respond, that he's gotten others asking about it, too
I am checking into FCC violations immediately and I suggest all people receiving calls from the aforementioned number do the same. A complaint must be filed immediately and calls must be made to dealers and the sneaky Motor Vehicle dept.! I assume we are all over the map in terms of location so each must contact their own M.V. Dept.. AIso, I noticed many makes of vehicles mentioned in this forum. Mine is a Kia. The guy asks very quickly for my husband and when I begin to say, "He is not a available," I am cut off before I can even get the words out. He only uses my husbands first name and he is what I consider to be rude.
I will post again with info. About the calls I make. Does a rule or law need to change?...hmmmmm
