A man with a foreign accent called and said the United States government was giving me $9000 because I was a good citizen and paid my taxes. He said he worked for some agency of the United States government that was giving away money to good Americans. I played along with him. He wanted information to wire the $9,000 to my bank account. He was phishing for account # and such. I told him I was late for an appointment and to give me his number. He said if I wanted the $9,000 to call his boss Allen Cooper at 2033085677 which I didn't even try. I'm sure I will get another call. I'm about ready to pay for call blocking because there are so many of these pests calling.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
