They think they are sneaky, they think they are smart. It wasn't 10 seconds into the call that I knew it was a scam and I told him so. He called about 12 times over a 20 minute period until I blocked the number and forwarded the information to the police. Anyone who gets this call needs to make a police report.
Received a call from the number listed this morning, The woman on the other end said she was with Microsoft and hackers are trying to get into my computer! Oh no! A slice of truth indeed, because she was indeed, the hacker in disguise trying to fool me with her lame scam. I hung up, she called again. I didn't answer. She was aggressive and very pushy when I did give him some time to talk at the beginning of the conversation.
Someone call me very early this morning asking for me or my husband, both names are listed in the telephone directory, saying to someone had hacked my computer and she could fix it. She said she was from Microsoft tech support, I told her I don't have my computer it's at the technician right now she is insisting that I sign in on a laptop in the house because she is seeing all the computers in the house been hacked. I asked her what does my desktop have to do with my laptop I don't get it she said I call you back in a week.
Wanted me to get a pen n paper n sit infront of my computer to take note of a message they alledgedly sen me and that my registration was being used to hack government files
