a woman with a thick accent wanted our president's email. I asked why. She said they sent a brochure about their company and wanted to follow up. I said if he's interested, he would have called. they have called several times. Sick of these low lives who isn't even from this country.
Called, ID'd herself and her comany, and asked for the Company President's email address. I asked what it was in regard to, and she said a business aquisition. I told her I was not allowed to give out email information, and she next asked for a general email. When I said we did not have one (lie), she then asked for MY emai! Right-I get enough spam already. I just hung up on her.
Arrgghhh!!! Same female and company called again, claiming that someone she had previously spoken to (which was me) had given her an incorrect email address for company president, and wanted the correct info. I again stated I was not allowed to give that information out, particularly if it was a solicitation call. "This is a solicitation call, correct?" I asked her. She said "No, it's regarding a business acquisition". Same difference, IMO. Our company was recently purchased by a large corporation, and I'm sure if they (parent company) wanted to acquire further businesses, they certainly wouldn't have to rely on some random telemarketers list to supply the info. I told her we are not interested, to please stop calling, and hung up.
