I just got a call now from this number, this guy asked me if I spoke russian or armenian. I do speak russian, so I told him that. And asked him who he was. He started telling me that they're a new phone company like att or verizon and kept telling me something about their plans. I realized it was a telemarketing call and told him I wasn't interested and hung up.
this number 203 401-8797 - keep calling me once or twice a day, even on
weekend, no one answers. When i called this number back, they say this # is
disconnected. How to find out who the heck are these people ? and what they want? Pleae advise.
This has happened to me as well. I have gotton calls like this on my home phone (Unlisted number) where I used to live with other phone numbers that do the same thing! Call and hang up. Day and night, weekends, NEVER EVER saying a word! Just hang up when I answer.
Now this number 203-401-8797 is calling my cell phone. Again, no answer, just hang up.
What could be the purpose of a phone call that gets nowhere? If it's a collection agency or telemarketer they sure won't get anything if we don't know who or why they are calling! Duh.
I guess they are just not very smart. Only stupid will waste the time to call long distance just to hang up. All Agree?
A lady called my Cell phone and said Hello in Russian (ALLO), I answered in Russian and she offered me to switch my long distance company. I am U.S. citizen and how the hell they know that I speak Russian? First suspicion. It means they know my name. Where did they get it from? Because I never give my personal information over the phone and tolled that I use internet for long distance calls she hang up on me.
