This is the email I received and it read like a scam to me, so I did a little research....

I just got an email from a so called ladon Beasley from the same company, I didn't know it was a scam, what happenes if I have them my address??? Please help!!

Just got a text message this morning from Ortus Hodings Limited. The "HR rep" was a "Mrs. Teresa Puttney" and when I texted that I wouldn't be able to take the immediate online interview on Yahoo Messenger happening that morning she texted that I would be interviewing with a "Mr. Peter Barney" as soon as I was available. By the way, the first text was yesterday to see if I was interested in the position. The one today came at around 9 am and didn't even consider the fact I might be busy (seriously, what legitimate company completely sets up an interview at THEIR convenience without any notice whatsoever). Thank goodness I found others who might have had a run in with these people.

On a side note, I had a similar experience with Nova Medical Center about a year ago. Pretty much the same set up. They wanted an online interview on Yahoo Messenger. Unfortunately last year I actually finished the whole interview before looking up the company online. Just because the company's real, definitely doesn't mean the people contacting you are legit. If you don't hear from someone over the phone or see someone in person, 9 out of 10 times it's a scam. What made me a bit suspicious about a year ago was that the interviewer said she was in Atlanta, GA and her IM picture looked like a white woman, but during interview, every so often, the words would be typed in another language. An example: check and cheque when discussing how much the "job" paid.  Well, you live and you learn...
