Rec'd a rebocall for business loans. Pressed 1 to speak to someone. The live person with an accent would not give me the name of the company until I provided him with my company name, my name, and my monthly revenue. So, I made it up. Once I gave him the info, he transferred me to Gary @ Capital Advance who I informed I would be reporting to the FTC and to enjoy his $10,000 fine. I also reported to DONOTCALL.gov.

Each call they make can cost them up to $6k. First, they are calling a number on the do-not-call list; second, they don't identify themselves, third, they won't honor requests for no more calls despite their fake option to do so, and fourth, they don't provided you with their internal do-not-call policy manual upon request within 30 days. Each violation amounts to $500 which can be tripled if the conduct warrants it. So, this is what I do and profit from at these roaches' expense: I file an action in state or federal court and file a motion for class action determination status. They are served with the complaint, their attorney contacts me, and I settle my individual case. it works and I've seen telemarketing calls drop by 90%+ because most telemarketers are related. Forget relying on the govt to enforce the law and take the private cause of action route that is in the law.
I got a call and cell and i look at the number and from where is was from it was from connecticut I don't know no one from that place I did not answered it and they did not leave a message and yes was it the used of doing DONOTCALL.GOV they still call
