Calls from a busy room, has a weird english accent. actually sounds kind of legit. leaves a message about the IRS and having a warrant our for my arrest. the message was pretty legit, i might have fallen for it if i really owed money to the IRS.
Scam. Someone named Susan(english is obviously the second language) called claiming to be the IRS. She said the was a warrant in my name. Never specified what exactly I was in trouble for. Also, said they police would "call" me to arrest me. I hung up when they started fishing for personal info. She is calling from a crowded call center. This is the IRS phone scam that is going around. Don't panic. It's a scam.

This is a scam! They say they are from the IRS and you are violating 3 different laws. They will say they mailed you something regarding this, but of course, you don't have it and now you will have to go to court that will cost you 30k to 40k. They just called to give you this notice but they will "try" to help you out because you are a good citizen. Then they will give you a solution, $4,000 to be given to 3 "police officers" that will arrive to your house. You were not allow to hang up, get a third party in this call, and you had to do it in 45 minutes. This is a scam! IRS will not take you to court for tax invasion. They will just take the money out of your bank account directly and your bank will inform you of it. Please report this to your police if it does happen in your area

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
I had the same case today.I visited the police department then, but they said that they can't do anything.The phone number was 230-485-2031( There were women and men(Allen(m) Donald).These scam people said that I didn't paid 4% tax for international transaction, and now I should pay fee $ 3971 .They are excellent psychologists and keep you on phone, don't give you to think and didn't allow to speak with somebody.
