203-502-7659 I don't pick up the phone from unknown numnbers. But caller stated "Connecticut Call" meaning he is calling from an internet number. Such as Google voice etc. For sure coming fro India especially his accent.
Left 3 msg on my answering machine he's got some nerve with his East Indian Accent trying so hard to make his accent as an American. Saying I will be arrested by the Grand Jury if I don't respond to his call. He gave a phoney name like David Grey. So phoney.
I reported it to the Police department and the Donotcallregistry.gov 1-888-382-1222 to be blocked. Plus blocked the call from my phone.
Severely distorted, vaguely threatening message with return number. Second call 42 minutes later with slightly less worn tape...'legal action'...'2nd warning'...help us help 'you' etc.
Fairly obvious fake, and not the first such call I've received.
SCAM!! Got a call from 203.502.7659. Says they are with the government and threaten me. Then tell me to call them. But can barely speak English. ID say UNKNOWN NAME. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do not call them!!!! I do not think they are actually calling from the USA either.
I got the same message on our phone system. My nephew works for local PD. Which just happen to have a phone fraud division. With AT&T U-Verse I happen to have a internet web site that I can manage and records my phone mail. I've sent the recording to him and he is passing it alone the phone fraud division.
FYI: The IRS never calls you 1st. If they have a problem with you their 1st contact will by "US mail (not email) with and IRS agent that is handling you case number. 90% of the time with me it work out in my favor . So I have gotten use to how the IRS works.
