Got a call from them 6/4 around 1pm EST. Did not pick up and they did not leave a message. May be getting calls from them in other states in previous months. May pick up one time and give them a piece of my mind.
This company calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. When the call is answered, they play a recorded message with no operator on the line in further violation of the TCPA. When you do get to an operator, the operator hangs up if you request a physical address - which the TCPA requires them to provide. The recording claims that you have been pre-qualified for a discount business loan in the amount of $250,000, but the second question the operator has for you is what your monthly revenue is - indicating that you have not been qualified. This is clearly a scam to get information and possibly provide high-cost predatory loans. Do not provide this scammer any information.
