Called twice last Friday, a half an hour apart. I didn't answer either time and never will. The funny thing was that the 203 number is what showed up on my caller ID and a completely different number with a 775 area code showed up on my carrier's web site. Is this what they call spoofing? They just called again and didn't leave a message. Time to block their butts.
They keep calling my cell phone, 2x a week, calls are 30 minutes apart. Sometimes I don't answer, they never leave a message. When I do answer, it's just dead air. Crazy.
These Collection Agencies are starting to play dirty games.
If you owe on your credit cards these collection agencies call your families, friends, and anyone that you know or keep in contact with. They leave messages on their phone. For example, it usually goes something like this, this call is for……… (name of the person) this is a collection agency…calling to collect on a debt…etc.
They call from different numbers; even call you using your same area code phone number.
They even sell your phone number or information to telemarketers.
In a similar case I had file a complaint with the FCC, the FCC is telling me to file my case with the district attorney.
I recently learn of this new call blocker device that can provide some solution to this problem. Till I figure out why these numbers are still allow to call people this device will have to do for now. Some of them change their number every month; in a month alone average about 20 new callers or numbers calling…
