I came home to find a a message left on my machine from "Bruce Prindle" inquiring about job opportunies he had for me, but he offered no specifics and sounded quite suspect. Left this number to get back to him.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number also. Said his name was Nick Fridelli, that he was a hiring manager from the Cheshire area asking if I was interested in career change if money was right. Left (203) 651-0017 ext 32 as call back number. Wondering if this is Primerica, Agway or something like that. May call back just for hell of it...

Very big Nationwide company. I am now working for them full time and I think it's a Great company.

They are a recruit based company that works to help middle income family learn more about personal finance. Talk with them and you will find they are looking for people to help grow their business. A+ rating on BBB, also, their stock is going up, nice change from most of the other companies in financial services.

Probably not a scam, but definitely a cold call and not totally kosher in accordance with the No Call List. I also received a message from a Bruce Prindle that was vague and didn't mention a company.  He called himself a Hiring Manager and said he was in the Cheshire area, and was wondering if I was still interested in changing my career.  I haven't lived in Cheshire since 2004, haven't had a resume posted on a job site in almost nine years, and haven't looked for a job or sent out a resume to anyone at all in over three years-- which is to say: this was a very, very cold call and I'm not sure where they're mining their data.  Just randomly calling numbers with the right area code and exchange for the geographical area they're claiming to be from?  It wasn't unpleasant, there was no obvious scam, but his name is associated with Primerica and he's not listed as a hiring manager, but a licensed broker-dealer, so it seems like they might be cold-calling to drum up interest in low level sales or telemarketing positions or possibly just prospective investors who feel like they'll pay for advice.  I don't know if they were working from an old copy of my resume, but I tend to think not, as it's clear that I would not be interested in sales... and probably not be earning enough money to be interested in investing!  (Lit major)
