No one is on the line

same thing. no one on there when i answered

Number shows up on caller I.D. and rings once or twice and then hangs up.  Does not leave a message or even wait for answering machine to pick up.

I tried to call this number back and I get a generic recording machine message that does not identify the caller.

I sent for information on a hot tub and did not give my phone number. Now they
