A recorded poll (push-poll, actually, intended to make you think that Greg Nichols' only goal as mayor is to raise your taxes) regarding the upcoming 8/09 Seattle election. It was amusing on the one hand ("Greg Nichols wants to raise your taxes by a gazillion taxes. Who would you vote for if the election was today?") but also, knowing that some people are taken in by that kind of garbage, a little bit annoying.
The number has called my residence seveeral times. On the last, my wife answered. The caller asked for me or my wife by our first name to which she replied that neither were available. The caller said they would call back. My wife asked who was calling and the caller would not identify who they were or why they were calling.
This number, with only hyphens for "name", has been very persistent to my north Seattle address as of late. Haven't bothered to answer but prior comments suggest it is with current political activity (bag-tax).
