206 000-0000 called asking for my partner. I asked how I could help as he wasn't available but she said only he could help. I told her to call his phone then, not repeatedly call me. She just hung up. There were no calls from this number on my partners phone. In the past the Puget Sound Blood Center would call from this number for people at my work, but they would state who they were. There was no company name with this call, just "Valerie".

You can't say it is from "one" person because it's not a real number. It is possible that it is Bank of America calling for someone who doesn't live here.
I got a call from this number on June 30, 2012, and a woman's voice asked for Susan+misspelled last name. I said "speaking" and she said she was calling because voter registration may have a wrong address for me and that I should go to myvote.wa.gov and be sure my address is correct. (I live in Seattle). She never asked me for any information about me except for my ethnicity (at the very end of the call), and never mentioned any addresses or names of other people. Weird.
