we got a call also same number today 12/4 was told we were going to be arrested if back taxes were not paid. Told caller fine to send police on over, they hug up. Still waiting for knock on the door. SMH
recording from the irs saying last call -you owe money and please call back. I did not call back. I had another call yesterday (12/3) - I called back but gave no information. I contacted our local police department who sent me a link to fraud calls and to complete the information. That number was 929-245-9484.
A person called saying I owe back taxes . I knew it was a scam , So I played along , found out his asian told him I worked for the IRS myself . He hung up.
Caller left recorded message on my home phone. Caller identified themselves as being from IRS Legal Dept and stated I was being sued. Indicated I should call (206) 201-2241. I didn't call. Google'd number and found same info. Thank you Google and others for posting your comments
