Received a call telling me I had been approved for a $1500 loan. I asked for the name of the company. Caller could barely speak English and I didn't understand a thing she was saying. I asked to speak to her supervisor, and she put a man on the phone who could also not speak English. He said I had been approved for a $500 loan. He said I had to give him information on my bank and my account and I told him I don't give that over the phone. He said he would take the information and transfer me to their finance department. I asked for the phone number to the finance department and he gave me this number. I told him I was having trouble understanding what he was saying, and he put another man on the phone. I could tell they were all in the same room because of the background noises which did not change. This third individual told me his name was Ed Jones. He didn't speak English very well either. I asked him for the name of the website where I could check on their loan policy, and he told me it was CASHPAYDAYLOANS.COM. I pulled it up on my compter, and it was one of those loan referral ripoff places. He asked for my bank information and I told him I did not give out that information on the phone. He assured me that I could trust them and they would keep my information secure. He said I would be pleased with their service because thewir interest rate was only 11 and 1/2%. He said I was approved for a $2000 loan. I hung up.
