some kind of donation seeking organization for wounded veterans. I told the caller I was unemployed and have no income coming in, but they kept insisting that I send some kind funds. I again repeated I cannot help as I have no income and no money to send. They said we would like some help, can I put you down for 45 dollars I said no and they said thanks and hung up before I said anything. I never heard of these people and suggest that it may be some kind of scam so unless you know the organization to be a valid one I would not give a dime to them.

i don't appreciate the calls that I have gotten from Purple Heart org. My husband is a member of this org. We give to this and many other such as USO ,W ounded Warriors,Hospitalized Veterans,DAV!Paralyzed Veterans, and Toys for Tots, etc.They won't take (,not this time, )and try to put you down for some amount ,even when you say I cannot give at this time. It is very frustrating and makes you mad at the organization ,instead of the guy they get for a fundraiser.
