I got the same exact call today and the call was cutting in and out and he was stating I was hiding money from the federal government and he was calling form the IRS. I told him if they had a problem they knew where i lived if they were the IRS and could come talk to me at my home and hung up on him!!
They have called me from multiple phone numbers. I have been told that I can report these numbers to the Department of Agriculture. Same as happened to others, someone with a very thick accent saying that I should call the IRS inmediately because I had commited fraud with my taxes.
Very bothersome.
I got a phone call but the voicemail from a very thick voiced man stating that I had committed fraud on my taxes hiding from the IRS really what a fraud going to block this number too!!!
