Thanks for this site....I got the same nurse story from her for an item. I googled her phone number and saw Washington state, which was a HUGE red flag. Then, googled her number...good thing I declined her offer. Stay alert folks!!
Yes I got the exact same reply for an "instant purchase" on Craigslist for $50 more than I was asking on a piano. When I called the number, got an answering machine with a fax message and then looked up the number. These should be reported immediately!
Beware. She contacted me as Mary Rowerly. Offered me 50. over asking price telling me husband would pick up item after she sent cashiers check and it cleared. Claiming to be a nurse and too busy to come look at item. I googled phone number 206 337 3798 because I knew it wasn't local. It's at the [***] end of the country from. me. I am a single mom trying to send a child on a class trip. I hope they string these people! For shame. This is my first attempt at sell, thank goodness I checked out the number.
