My mother just got a call from this number. Claiming she was being investigated by the IRS for back taxes. This person was a rude guy with what seemed to be a fake Indian accent . My mom told him her son inlaw was coming to pick her up in a few minutes and he worked for the police dept. And will call him back. The guy was stuttering and hung up on my mom. SCAM!!!
I received a call from them as well. It's a scam, the "operator" told me they found an inaccuracy in my taxes between 2009 and 2014....only thing is...I didn't even live in the US in 2009. I told him I never received anything in a written form. He told me he'll contact the authorities to put out a warrant for my arrest. Once I mentioned I will tell my lawyer to contact them (in a harsh way) he hung up.
Received an automated message claiming it was a final notice from the IRS and that I should call the number listed on this forum. Neither me nor my grandmother has ever had a problem with the IRS.
i just got the same call them skeering people to try to get money saying you will be arrested an took out of ur home.....trying to skeer people in to paying then when i said i havent paid taxes sence 2013 he hung up
