Got a call from this number at 11:17 a.m. Caller ID showed "Member Alert" I figured if it was legit they would show their organization name, so I did not pick up. Reading these comments I'm glad I didn't. If a company is legit they have no problem showing who they are; if they are not legit, picking up the phone only lets them know that they have reached a valid number and will keep calling, probably using a slightly different number and/or a bogus company name to make you think it's someone else. Once they know you will pick up, they will keep calling! A legit company will leave a message, these predators will usually not. So if you don't know who is calling let the machine pick up, and you only pick up if you recognize who is talking. If you keep picking up when these phonies call, you are encouraging them. Anyone who REALLY needs to talk to you will SPEAK, and you can choose whether to respond or not.
I have received numerous calls from this number over the last month. There is never anyone on the line when I answer. I am getting tired of this. I am registered on Do Not Call registry so I don't know why or who is calling. All the Caller ID says is Seattle, WA

I think all these calls are generated by the cell phone companies. Everytime
they call, you get nicked for a minute phone call. For me it costs 5 cents a minute.
Wouldn't you do this trick if you got 5 cents every time you made a fake call?
