Some person called and said they are from I.R.S. Internal Revenue Service. And asked if I had legal representation. They wanted me to take down name and phone number of the agent. I told them to send all correspondences by US Mail, and hung up.

I just received same phone call.
Pls. don't be scared of anything, as you might feel that calling person is very professional (the way he talks and discuss the issue).
I asked him to send me same issue in written but he refused and hanged up.
So, it's definitely a scam call but Government offices should take necessary actions against such people, who are harassing people.
I also got the call from same number. I told the caller either to mail me the info, or I will have my accountant get hold of the number.My accountant said that this is scam and DONOT, DONOT ever give any personal info (like social security #, or bank account info.
