I phoned the number blocking my caller ID and got a message "Thank you for calling back, If you are not interested in receiving any future calls regarding our special promotions and would like to be placed on our do not call list please press on (1) now". This doesn't seem to have any effect. They keep calling.
Got a call but did not answer. I've been trying to find out the "provider" or "management" company of our phone lists that do not honor the do not call registry list. Then I contact them to complain. So far, I have found two and am sure that there are many, many more. The DNCR's are so overwelmed so now it's time to face the collectors of our info. They need to be fined heavily for providing our info because they are allowing scammers to take advantage of us and make $$$ even if we are on the Do Not Call Registries. Before our info is sold shared or rented these compilers need to ensure that the consumer is removed from their list BEFORE the list is provided. You should do some research and post the info if you find out. I also invested in a call blocker device but do not want to set it up yet.
They need to make these calls a FELONY, and follow through with prosecution. Also, spoofing their numbers so they don't show their real numbers should also be a felony. Put them in prison and throw away the keys.
Can you share what "call blocker" device your purchased? I can't stand these phone cells anymore, but my AT&T call block service can't block most of the calls.
