Thanks! I got this call and didn't call back. I thought maybe it was a scam or something. I did a little research and it said the would send a letter if i was being audited.
Left a voicemail claiming they were Officer David Edward from IRS. Said I was under investigation for unethicaland fraudulent way I filed taxes. Definitely a spammer~~
Received call saying it was officer David something from the irs. It was automated msg with a number to call back. I actually work for the irs so I called the number back. Obviously it's not real. FYI for anyone reading this. THE AGENCY WILL NEVER CONTACT YOU ON THE PHONE. WE WILL MAIL YOU A CONTACT LETTER AND HAVE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH YOU.
